1.
What is Renewed Hope Ministries
Biblical Institute?
We are an in
house and remote distance training center for Christians who
desire a biblical education but do not have the time or
resources to attend a full time college program. We are not a
university, we are a academic and experiential training
institute.
2. What is the Goal of Renewed Hope’s
Biblical Institute?
We are
dedicated to the purpose of training and educating persons for
Christian service. Jesus Christ is the center of all our
objectives. Our Mission Statement says it all: “We exist to
educate, equip, and validate those pursuing a deeper knowledge
of God and their relationship to Him. We accomplish these goals
by providing relevant biblical studies to those engaged in a
journey toward Christian maturity.”
3. What kind of studies does Renewed
Hope’s Biblical Institute offer?
We offer
internet training for those in remote locations and classroom
studies for those near the RHMBI facility. The courses are
interactive for the student and utilize the Bible , and a
thorough study guide for every course.
4. How difficult are the courses and how
much time is involved?
The basic
procedure involves registration for a Biblical course. After
registration is completed you will be given a study guide for
the course(s). The study guide questions are designed to force
you to understand the intent of the bible author. The study
guides have True/False or Multiple Choice quizzes for every
reading assignment. Most simply ask you to search the text to
find the answer. The Bible is always our main textbook. The
studies are time-intensive and cannot be completed quickly. The
idea is not to just "get it over with" but to allow the text to
speak to you and equip you for ministry. All courses will have
tests.
5. What is
included in the course materials?
When you
enroll you will be emailed, mailed or given a study guide or a
CD(s) that contains the study guide necessary to complete your
class. You will need to complete the pre-requisite courses in
order to receive an Apostolic Writings (New Testament) or Tanakh
(Old Testament) certificate. The courses are all written in
Adobe Acrobat Files, DVD or CD formats.
6.
How does the process work for those in remote locations?
We will
e-mail or mail you acknowledgement of your enrollment usually
within 10 working days (USA only) from the time you enroll. Once
you receive your materials you can start working on your course.
We advise you to only work on one course at a time and to send
it in as soon as it is completed. It is best if you write your
answers in a word processing document and send it to us as an
e-mail attachment for faster processing. That way you can keep
your originals and save the cost of postage. Once you have
completed successfully 30 credits you will receive a certificate
for the completion of your work. We will keep track of all your
progress in our office and have a transcript of all your work.
All of our courses are graded on a pass/fail basis.
